We had a lovely family holiday at Acorn Cottage. The cottage was spotless and extremely well equipped and we were made to feel very welcome by the owners, Elsie & Alastair. The cottage is set in rural surroundings and is perfectly situated to visit Glasgow, Edinburgh and Stirling. This gives the opportunity to relax or have an action packed day if preferred. Falkirk is also within easy reach and we had a great time visiting the Falkirk Wheel and the Kelpies. The Wi-Fi in the cottage had been upgraded prior to our visit and worked really well. We are now planning to return again next year.

We had an 11-night stay at Acorn Cottage and would definitely return. The cottage is very well-equipped, clean and more than comfortable. There is a great paved area for children to play. The location is excellent for exploring popular areas like Stirling, Edinburgh and Glasgow. The cottage is very spacious and quiet. We hope to return for another visit!

Brian spent many hours on the internet before finding this treasure. Such a great find. Elsie and Alastair another wonderful find. Accommodation, best we have stayed. Wonderfully positioned, great views, watching the lambs, a delight. Beautifully furnished, great kitchen, loved the sun room & laundry. Everything here that one could want. Certainly be putting this in our best of UK & passing on to friends.

Lodgings were warm, cosy and well thought out. Enjoyed every minute here. Our hosts were welcoming and caring. Especially enjoyed the lighted mirrors and vanity, the lovely dishes and kitchen details, the fantastic views, the 2 grazing sheep, the sun porch and tea with Alastair and Elsie.
